This new Boutique Winery popped up recently.
In fact, the winery opened just yesterday, March 15, 2003.
Winemaker, Richard
(yes, he's like Cher, no last name is needed)
has come up with a blend like no other!
When asked what inspired him to open Richards Blend, he replied,
"My friends were so impressed with my spirits blending seminars
that I just knew they would love my blend of fine vinifera grapes."
The blend is an unsual one. 90% Charles Shaw Cabernet Sauvignon
and 10% Charles Shaw Chardonnay.
At the Grand Opening, tasters were heard to say:
"The wine seems very young."
"It's interesting."
"The color is very light for a Cabernet."
"It matches the Cheetos perfectly!"
guests were treated to his masterful Spirits Blends.
