
6 eggs, separated (use pasteruized eggs)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 1/2 cups brandy or rum
1/2 cup Kahlua
4 cups milk
2 cups whipping cream
Lightly sweetened whipped cream
Freshly grated nutmeg
In a large bowl, beat egg yolks while adding sugar until mixture is smooth. Add brandy or rum and Kahlua. Beat in milk and whipping cream. Chill.
Whisk the egg whites until stiff and fold into eggnog mixture. Serve in a punchbowl, and add whipped cream and nutmeg for garnish.
