2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tsp baking powder 1 tsp baking soda 2 tsp ground cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 1/2 tsp ground cloves 1/2 tsp salt 1/2 cup softened butter 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar 1 cup pumpkin puree 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla For Icing 2 cups confectioners sugar 3 Tsbp milk 1 Tbsp melted butter 1 tsp vanilla |

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinamon, nutmeg, ground cloves and salt. Set aside. In a medium bowl, cream 1/2 cup of butter and the granulated sugar. Add the pumpkin, egg and 1 tsp vanilla. Beat until creamy. Mix in the dry ingredients. Drop, by tablespoonful, onto a cookie sheet lined with parchement. Flatten slightly. Bake for 15-20 minutes. Cool cookies and drizzle glaze onto cookies with a fork To make the glaze: Combine all ingredients and stir. Add more milk, as needed. |
