Rum Cha Cha

2 small lime wedges
2 small lemon wedges
2 thin slices of fresh ginger
6 ice cubes
1 3/4 oz good-quality dark rum
2 to 3 oz ginger ale

Garnish

1 lime wedge
1 cocktail cherry
1 lemon wedge

In a heavy bottomed old-fashioned glass, use a wooden spoon to muddle (or mash) the lime, lemon and fresh ginger.

Add the ice cubes to the glass, then add the rum and gently stir.

Top with the ginger ale and give one last gentle stir. Garnish and serve.
