The winery is named for a surveyors landmark, which is a tree high above the winery building.
Bryce Bagnall was the winemaker for many years. Sadly, he has ALS and has had to reliquish his title. Bryce is now Winemaker Emeritus.
Former Cellarmaster, Steven Westby has taken on the role of winemaker.
