So, the two of them headed east.

Reggie's first stop was the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
This was exciting as Reggie new that they fly the official Penguin Colors
at the Speedway -
you know, black and white!

Next, he was off to the National Corvette Museum
in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

He really loved getting up close and personal with the historic automobiles!

Reggie really enjoyed Bowling Green. He dug the cars.
But he was confused. They didn't seem to have any with "penguin controls."
After all, his little feet just can't reach the foot pedals!
Now, there came a moment where Reggie did something that most birds would never even consider doing.

He visited with his old pal, Cliffy.
Cliffy had moved to Nashville a few months earlier and Reggie missed him.

He was also able to visit with his creator, Brenda and his buddy Dan.

Dan and Brenda made sure to show Reggie the historic sites around Nashville.

The buildings were quite impressive.

Some had LONG hallways to explore!

Historical markers are not only educational, they make great landing spots!

Reggie and Dan were so happy to see each other again.

But all too soon, they had to bid each other a fond farewell.
Stay tuned, I have a feeling that Reggie will want to "fly the coop"
again on
a little vacation or two!
